3 quick reasons why supporting #d8rules is important for Drupal future

02
Jun
2014

1) Turning point in embracing crowdfunding

I see D8rules project as a key to opening trust and success of future larger crowdfunding projects on Drupalfund. We've seen 7 successful although smaller campaigns, raised nearly $15,000 USD from around 150 funders, but we didn’t have a project of this size yet. I believe that If we raise enough funds to fully support #d8rules project, it will open the trust of our community in crowdfunding and enable us to use crowdfunding as a real catalyst to boost Drupal development.

Best Practices For Managing a Webdesign (Drupal) Company

28
Jun
2010

Managing a proffesional Drupal company, or any webdesign company is definetely a hard task. There are always many ways where things can go wrong and one day you can realize that your succesfull company that you dreamed about has disappeared in the mixture of unhappy employees, not satisfied clients and a shame from doing things simpy wrong.

Learning from the experiences of others can be very beneficial if you are willing to learn and make changes to the way you do things. There is a saying in my country that a wise man is learning from mistakes of other people, while a fool is learning from its own mistakes. I was lucky enough to be one of the few hundred people that were able to squeeze in to a fully packed room on a DrupalCon San Francisco session where owners, founders and managers of some well established Drupal webdesign studios shared their experiences, things that they did right and things that were completely wrong.

DrupalCon Paris 2009

This week, @DrupalCon - the conference for drupal developers, themers, designers, users and fans is happening in a beautiful city of Paris. Here are some notes from the sessions I attended. If you are ine if those unlucky guys that did not make it to DrupalCon, here are some people liveblogging from Paris: Propeople, Baris Wanchers, JPStacey . Also make sure you search on twitter for drupalcon to get the latest updates.

Day 0

Tuesday was a day when one of the biggest DrupalCamps ever happned as a starter for the DrupalCon main meal. More than 150 hungry drupallers got together and shared their knowledge. Sessions about Ubercart (e-commerce solution for drupal), @OpenAtrium (fantastic Project/Team managing tool from @developmentseed ) drupal newbies and many more happened, but that all was only a warm-up before the real thing happened.
